AROMATHERAPY
Aromatherapy uses essential oils to make you feel calm, relaxed, or energised. The oils work with your sense of smell: you can inhale them, bathe in them or be massaged with them. Aromatherapy uses warm essential oils to activate your sense of smell and increase your sense of well-being. The oils are massaged into your skin, dropped into bathing water, or blended with other oils or steam for you to inhale. The essential oils used in aromatherapy are extracted from raw plant material, which may be flowers, berries, bark, wood, roots, leaves, resin, peel or seeds. Only a small amount of essential oil is needed, which is blended with a larger amount of "carrier" oil, such as jojoba, sweet almond or grapeseed. Aromatherapy works on the basis that the smell of the essential oils triggers the limbic system: the part of the brain linked with emotion. This is why a scent can affect how you feel, and help you relax. Aromatherapy is often used to: relieve stress and anxiety help you to sleep better; whether you have problems getting to sleep (insomnia) or staying asleep help you relax relieve tiredness or aching muscles soothe chronic pain aid concentration. Some essential oils are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have: epilepsy high blood pressure hypoglycaemia kidney problems had recent surgery suffered from deep vein thrombosis.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
It sounds divine doesn’t it? A real treat. But actually, Indian Head Massage isn’t simply a ‘treat’ – the benefits are really rather crucial and can assist with a variety of physical and emotional problems and concerns. Here’s a few of them: 1. HELPS PREVENT MIGRAINES AND HEADACHES AND BACK PAIN Often tension in the upper back, neck and head can lead to migraines, headaches and back pain which can make for uncomfortable living on a day to day basis and sometimes even lead to depression 2. PROMOTES HAIR GROWTH This is a lovely side effect of the Indian Head Massage (if you’re trying to grow your hair anyway…). The massage increases nourishment and oxygen to the scalp and hair follicle which in turns stimulates hair growth. It’s a one way ticket to long, luscious locks! 3. DETOXIFIES THE BODY BY STIMULATING LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE Indian Head Massage stimulates and improves lymphatic drainage and blood flow to the neck thus helping to remove waste products from the body. 4. RELIEVES SLEEPLESSNESS, RESTLESSNESS AND INSOMNIA These are often side-effects of stress and Indian Head Massage will immediately relieve stress and promote relaxation by attacking the physical symptoms, thus allowing for a deeper sense of wellbeing and relaxation and opening your body to better rest. 5. RELIEVES SYMPTOMS OF ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION Massaging the head encourages the supply of oxygen to the brain which is one of the best ways of reducing anxiety and of lifting one’s mood. Oxygen helps you think clearly and creatively and a similar effect is Calm experienced through exercise. 6. RENEWS ENERGY LEVELS An Indian Head Massage works with the Ayurvedic concept which goes beyond the limits of healing and places emphasis on balance. Working on the chakras through Indian Massage has a powerful effect in bringing the energy of the body back into balance. 7. BOOSTS MEMORY CAPERBILITIES Often we have short-term memory difficulties because our brains are overloaded with disorganised thoughts, making it very difficult for us to efficiently ‘log’ and collect thoughts and occurrences. Indian Head Massage slows us down, sensual awareness takes over, thoughts quieten and awareness is brought to the forefront. Think of it like someone pressing your ‘reset’ button.

INDIAN FACE MASSAGE
Indian Face Massage is a form of facial rejuvenation. It gives a natural facelift through massage designed to be a gentle non-invasive approach to looking younger. The massage works primarily by freeing constrictions both within the facial muscles and in the connective tissue. Tension can build up within our facial muscles from the pressures of everyday life, without us realising it. Certain thoughts and emotions become habitual, locking themselves into the expressions on our faces. Under such conditions muscles can actually dry up and contract, inhibiting freedom of expression, encouraging ageing and the formation of wrinkles, the face loses its muscle tone and elasticity and begins to sag. Our faces explain a lot about our lifestyles, late nights, smoking, excess toxins, alcohol and partying all build up until dark circles, bags and fine lines appear. Laughter and frown lines materialise around the eyes and mouth, permanently ageing the skin and its appearance. Sun exposure also plays a part in skin ageing as we all want that golden tan! Combining this with stress, pollution, toxins, and food additives can make us all look older than our years. The massage itself is performed by using repetitive movements across the face using the fingertips. Not only is it relaxing and calming but it also reduces lines, tightens the skin, increases skin elasticity, promotes blood flow to the face and leaves the recipient feeling contented. REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is an extremely effective form of massage, relating to the ‘reflex points’ on the sole of the foot. These points correspond to the organs and systems in the body, and are linked to those organs through ‘energy channels’, ‘zones’ or ‘meridians’. When illness or imbalance occurs, the corresponding ‘energy channels’ become blocked. Reflexology Massage aims to remove these blocks, thus allowing the energy to flow freely again. Reflexology will reduce stress and tension in the individual, improve circulation and cleanse the body of toxins and impurities. It is also renowned for revitalizing the energy, and is often used as preventative healthcare. In other words, this enjoyable therapy will help to balance the whole system.
